Leah Jones is a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician (LVMT). Leah has years of experience in the veterinary field and is extremely compassionate and knowledgable. She loves the outdoors and competing in running events. Her two dogs Franklin and Tyler are her constant companions.

Marie is our Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant. She is working toward her certification as a Licensed Veterinary Medical Technician. She truly loves animals and has a kind soothing way with the patients.

Katie is our part time Receptionist/Veterinary Assistant. She is a second year veterinary student at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. Katie loves horses and lives and works on a horse farm. She has many pets and is very knowledgable in all aspects of pet care.

Michelle E. Smallwood, DVM has been in practice in the Knoxville area for 15 years. She was the top graduate from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine class of 1995.

Dr. Smallwood is married and has two children, ages 10 and 13. The other family members are the Irish Wolfhound and Labrador Retriever (Both Rescues) seen on the homepage. She enjoys horseback riding, music, aerobics, reading and spending time with her family.

Tina Smith, DVM is a graduate of the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She grew up in the Clinton TN area where her family has a Christmas Tree farm. She is interested in pet nutrition and has published articles on the subject.

Dr. Smith is married and has several cats. She enjoys music, hiking, horses, travel and her husband.
